for our out of town guests...
Since our wedding falls during football season, we recommend you book your rooms as early as possible! Our wedding is the Friday before a home game: Ole' Miss vs. Auburn. With that in mind, many hotels in the Auburn/Opelika area have two or three-night minimums and crazy expensive rates. We're recommending a few hotels in the Montgomery area (which is only about 30-40 minutes to Kiesel Park) as well as a few in Opelika. We will do our best to help you find a reasonable place to stay close by-- but home game weekends book quickly and can get very pricey! Our top pick:
Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites - East Chase |
Montgomery - EastChase

9250 Boyd-Cooper Parkway,
Montgomery AL 36116
The Holiday Inn Express is the best mix of not breaking the budget while still providing a safe and welcoming atmosphere. Located close to both Interstate 85 and the Shoppes at East Chase this hotel is convenient, inexpensive, and only about a 30-40 minute drive from our wedding venue.
We have booked a block of rooms at this hotel.
Our group rate is $89/night. Click here to reserve your rooms. Rooms in the block will be released on September 4th, but the rate will be active as long as rooms are available up to our wedding day.
In Montgomery:
We've selected a few hotels near the Shoppes at East Chase, a shopping center on the Auburn side of Montgomery. The Shoppes at East Chase is one of the newest additions to Montgomery and is home to a wide variety of stores, boutiques, and restaurants.
