Kiesel Park

About:

Kiesel Park is Auburn's largest public park and is home to the historic Nunn-Winston house.  It also has a 2 1/4 mile walking trail, a pond, gardens, and an off-leash dog park.  When we were looking for a casual and budget friendly place to get married, we first thought of Kiesel Park.  We hope you love it as much as we do!

Although we love google, we recommend the following directions:

From I-85 South (From Birmingham/Montgomery)

Take Exit 50 (Cox Road/Auburn Technology Park) and turn Left off the exit onto Cox Road.
After about 2 miles, you'll veer left at a Stop sign/caution light (Swan Road/County Road 50.) At the stop, turn left onto Wire Road.
You'll drive on Wire Road for about 1.5 miles. Watch for the Kiesel Park sign on the right and turn right onto Chadwick Lane. After driving on Chadwick Lane for a little over a mile, you will see the main park entrance on the Left. However, continue driving until you see our sign on the left for the private entrance to the park.

From I-85 North (From Atlanta)

Take Exit 50 (Cox Road/Auburn Technology Park) and turn Right off the exit onto Cox Road.
After about 2 miles, you'll veer left at a Stop sign/caution light (Swan Road/County Road 50.) At the stop, turn left onto Wire Road.

After driving on Chadwick Lane for a little over a mile, you will see the main park entrance on the Left. However, continue driving until you see our sign on the left for the private entrance to the park.

Watch for this sign (and our wedding signs) to direct you to Kiesel.

Where to park when you arrive:

Instead of parking at the main gate, you will be able to park in a private area adjacent to the Nunn-Winston House. We will have signs posted at the private entrance directing you to the parking area. The parking area is a combination of grass and packed gravel, as long as it doesn't monsoon-- you should be able to leave the mud tires at home.  If you need special parking arrangements, please let us know.
